Just finished directing and co-editing the third episode of Jayson Musson’s series The Adventures of Jamel: The Time Traveling B-Boy! This episode, “The Ocean Blue” is set in the Bronx in 1990 and in 15th century Spain. We shot in Philadelphia as always, in a South Philly apartment and at a 18th century bomb shelter at Fort Mifflin, which served as both the throne room and the dungeon thanks to the magical skills of our production designer Lenore Romas and cinematographer Zac Rubino. Enjoy!!
Our newest episode of The Adventures of Jamel premieres next Tuesday in Los Angeles as a part of The Cinefamily’s official programming!
Co-directed this new music video for Wet’s song “You’re the Best” with designer/artist/creative director Hassan Rahim. Shot at a roller skating rink in New Jersey with a local cast, and shot by super talented cinematographer Brian Lannin (High Maintenance; Ft. Tilden) on an Arri Alexa with Cooke primes. And expertly produced by Tara Trullinger. A lovely team and band to work with. Watch it now over at Billboard.com!
